Every Rocky Mountain Hat Company hat starts as a raw felt body and is built by hand in our Montana shop—from blocking and pouncing through fitting the sweatband, flanging, finishing, and final shaping.
We’ve been making hats this way since 1990. Our Ready Made hats go through the same process, in the same shop, as our custom hats. The difference is where the design begins: custom hats are made for you; Ready Made hats are expressions of what we like to build.
Ready Made hats use our standard block sizing, so once you know your fit, other hats built in the same size and fit profile should wear consistently.
