"Cattle Baron Quality at Cowboy Prices" has been our mission since we made our first hats in 1990.

Our hats are built using traditional methods and machines from days gone by, when things needed to be as durable as possible.

Each stitch, iron stroke, and blast of hot steam is finessed with grand expectations of adventures awaiting you and your hat.

Morris Family

John Morris Sr. left his Physics career behind, drawn to the beauty and ruggedness of Big Sky Country. He quickly made friends with hard-working cowboys, and saw that the hats available just couldn't withstand the rigors of ranch life.

His son, John Morris Jr. partnered with him, and for nearly three decades together they outfitted customers around the world.

John Sr. took his last ride in 2016, and John Jr. took the reins and continued the tradition of making the finest hats in the world. In 2023 John's daughter-in-law Alisa Morris, became the third generation of Hat Makers.
